When designing the GLöGG sauna, we aimed to create a construction not only requiring no maintenance, but also with very good thermal insulation. Thanks to its unusual structure, the sauna provides great intimacy and fits perfectly with the modern form of gardens and architecture.

The Finnish sauna 3×2.5×2.3 m was made based on the Finnish sauna manual. Its internal height is 196 cm. The construction was divided in the ratio of 1/3 for the “changing room”, 2/3 for the sauna. The entrance door to the space in front of the sauna entrance has been hidden in such a way that it remains invisible when viewed from the front.

The sauna has 2 benches – a lower one with a depth of 52 cm (width approx. 195 cm) and a higher bench with a depth of 62 cm (width approx. 215 cm). Thanks to the proven dimensions of the interior, a height of 110 cm from the top bench to the ceiling, a properly selected Harvia Cilindro XE PC70XE 10.8 kW stove with a Harvia Xenio WiFi CX001WIFI remote control set, seam sheet metal facade, triple narrow glass, a door system that prevents uncontrolled ventilation and insulation with high-quality mineral wool with a reflective membrane in the sauna, we are able to achieve a satisfactory temperature, even in severe winter.

The interior of both rooms is illuminated by LED strips on the walls and ceiling. The ventilation of the sauna is ensured by an electric fan located under the benches.
What’s more, the sauna also has a roller shutter (without an electric motor), anti-rodent mesh on the underside of the structure and a glass door lock.
